My June Birchbox

Summer is finally here and to mark the new season, this month Birchbox has transformed into a limited edition BirchBag!

The design and colour choice just shouts summer and is such a cute and handy little bag, perfect for makeup or traveling.

The theme for June is 'Daytripping' all about showing some appreciation and celebrating the beautiful destinations here in the UK that are perfect for holidays and day trips, because the UK can be as beautiful as any foreign country.

Every subscriber received a full-size product in there bag this month and an exclusive voucher from Trouva.

Scrub Love

The first product out of June's bag is this Scrub Love Coffee Body Scrub, an exfoliator made from 100% natural ingredients.

It claims to stimulate circulation, buff away dead skin cells, reduce redness as well as hydrating the skin as it goes.

I'm super excited to try this out, as I've actually never used a coffee based body scrub before and think that it's a great idea.

The packaging does state that this is for normal to dry skin but I believe that I'll get on with this product just great as it is made from all natural ingredients so I'm hopeful it won't flare up my eczema or cause irritation.

Cynthia Rowley

The next product I picked out of the bag is this Cynthia Rowley Beauty Brightening Illuminator, a Birchbox exclusive product.

This claims to be a 'suits-all' highlighter, which I have my doubts about, and claims to add a little extra brightness without looking like a disco ball, perfect for those who prefer a much more subtle highlight and glow to the skin.

I really can't wait to test this out and to also try their tip of mixing it into a foundation or moisturiser for an all-over glow, something I've not tried doing before, as I love a good highlighter and always want to find more great products.

Bobbi Brown

I then grabbed out this Bobbi Brown Extra Eye Repair Cream that claims to target the look of fine lines, dark circles, puffiness and dryness, which personally sounds excellent and like it could solve so many of my under eye problems!

Although I've tried quite a few Bobbi Brown products, I've not actually tried much from the skincare range they have, which makes me want to try out this product so much more and I'm quietly confident that I'll really enjoy this, like I enjoy many other products from this brand.

Bumble and Bumble

Then there is this Bumble and Bumble Don't Blow It Thick (H)air Styler, a mouthful to say the least!

This product will apparently help you achieve effortless style without the need for hot-tools, it claims to enhance your hair's natural texture whilst also providing UVA and UVB protection, without leaving your hair greasy or feeling full of product.

I'm honestly so intrigued to try this out, as I've never used or heard of a product like this before, it sounds so cool and that honestly interests me more than I can explain to you! It is also from a brand I've not heard of or tried before, and we all know I'm always on the hunt and love discovering new brands with great products!

MeechNMia

And the last item out of this month's bag is this Meech and Mia Browliner in the shade #022.

This cruelty-free formula claims that it will glide on beautifully without fading or flaking, will work amazingly on all skin types and gives you the prefect control for either a more natural, subtle brow or a more full on 'power-brow'.

Once again, I'm excited to have the chance of testing a product from a brand that I'm yet to try, I'm currently in the market for new brow products too, so this is a perfect item to receive in this month's Birchbox and I'm positive that this browliner will work wonders for me and my sparse eyebrows!

Overall another incredible box -or should I say bag- filled with exciting products that I cannot wait to start using!

Let me know in the comments below if you are subscribed to a beauty box, which one? What products did you get this month, which was your favourite? And also let me know if you would like to see a review of any of the products that I received in this month's Birchbox.
