Winter Photography

I've said it before, but there really is something so incredibly beautiful in and about the changing seasons, each brings their own unique stamp as they arrive and pass through and each creates almost a world of their own while at its peak, which in turn creates incredible memories and associations that we all know and love.

Winter for me has to be my absolute favourite of the four seasons, how it leaves the trees bare, almost new and untouched, the usually vibrant green grass becomes suddenly muted under a soft blanket of white frost, daylight and temperatures drop, the air feels much more fresh and of course Christmas too, there really is just something magical about the whole festive season.

"There really is just something magical about the whole festive season."

So I wanted to dedicate a post to my photography of Winter, how the world and season changes once again and all of the beauty that comes alongside that - because there really is so much and we were lucky enough to have snow this Winter!

I didn't take as many Winter photographs as I had originally intended - Christmas stress definitely got the better of me once again! - but I hope that you still enjoy the images that I did capture anyway!

Let me know which images are your personal favourite to capture during Winter and Christmas - I would love to hear!

Also let me know any post ideas or photography post's that you would like to see, suggestions are always welcome!
