Laura Mercier Translucent Powder - Worth The Value?

Quickly becoming one of my absolute favorite loose powders, this Laura Mercier translucent powder really is worth every penny in my opinion and has become a go-to powder on a day to day basis.

Being a translucent powder, it does mean that it won't add any extra colour to your face when you apply it, and instead just sets any makeup you have on beautifully.

Personally I find that it sets my concealer and under-eye area perfectly without looking or becoming 'cakey' at all throughout the day and without setting into those small fine lines under my eyes or exaggerating them, something that I definitely look for in any powder that I purchase, drugstore or high-end.

As someone who struggles with having combination skin, both dry in area's and oily in other area's, I was happy to find that I don't have a problem with wearing the powder all over my face, whether it be a day where my skin is oilier, or a day when my skin is drier, which makes it perfect for a year round loose powder and for people with both dry or oily skin.

I have used this now many times and in a variety of situations, and I can honestly say that even after 10 hours of wear and being in ridiculous heat that it does not move, it hadn't started to wear off and become patchy or cakey and it didn't leave me looking powdery at all anywhere on my face or under my eyes.

Personally, it has found a space at the front of my vanity, and I would highly recommend to anyone that wants to spend that little more money for more luxury products as I honestly believe you will not be disappointed.

Let me know in the comments below what you think, if you have tried this product yourself, or any other Laura Mercier recommendations that you are loving or that I should try.
