An Unexpected Accessory
We all know that having the right accessories can really help bring an outfit / look together really nicely. Whether that be a handbag, sunglasses or a scarf. But I want to mention the unexpected accessory that, personally, I think can really make an outfit... Nails.
I'm sure I can't be the only one who hates when I have an outfit picked out, want to get ready, but realize the colour of my nails doesn't match the colour I had chosen to wear, right?! Or worse, when you are ready, about to leave the house, then notice that a nail or two have chipped?! Not a cute look, and completely a pet peeve of mine!
Any outfit can really look complete with just a simple coat of nail varnish. For me, I find adding a bright nail to an all black outfit really gives the look an edge and catches eyes just that little bit more!
New clothes also, if I'm a little skeptical of adding new, bright colours to my wardrobe, I will always try to find a colour as close as I can and try it out on my nails. That may not work for everyone, but personally, if I don't like a colour on my nails, I tend to not like it in clothing either, but remember, everyone is different, and that is just my opinion and how it works for me.
If you plan to get your nails done around your outfit, try matching them to either your shoe colour or an accessory people will see, it ties everything in together and really makes it look like you have put in than little extra effort.
